Through our voice, life wants to expand, claim, grieve, and exalt. Yet too often we hold our voices back and we move away from the breath, leaving us feeling stifled, claustrophobic, and limited in our vocal expression.
We all have within us discarded voices--unwanted pieces of our whole that were silenced or that we have had to silence. And yet it’s this very neglect that keeps us from our power and limits the clarity and fullness of our expression.
When we begin to voice those discarded dimensions of Self, we learn to reside in our Truth and express ourselves in embodied wholeness. We find a forgotten joy, intimacy, and boundless freedom that is possible through voice.
To voice is to practice opening, with movement, to what wants to enter and live through the full exhalation. As amplified breath, vocalization involves the conscious, physical act of managing energy and co-creating with Life.

All of my voice lessons are custom-designed to help you not only improve your technique, but work through the physical, emotional, and spiritual blocks that are holding you back. Together, we will discover the parts of your voice you have long considered “inaccessible” and help you find the limitless power of expressive sound. I integrate my education in vocal technique with my studies in esoterism to help you heal and reach a depth of expression previously unimaginable.
This work is ideal for anyone interested in deepening their connection with their voice. It is particularly suited to those with a relationship with their voice that feels silenced, stifled or caged. No prior singing experience is required. All levels are welcome!

Introduction to Voice Creatures
3-Months of One-on-One Somatic Vocal Coaching
The three-month coaching option is ideal for those interested in beginning their exploration and healing of their voice. No prior voice experience is required. Over our three months together, we will dive into what’s holding you back and how reuniting with your voice will allow you to access deeper, more vast self-expression, maximize the resonance freedom of the voice, and discover greater vocal depth, range, and clarity of expression..
Advanced Voice Creatures Program
9-Months of One-on-One Somatic Vocal Coaching
In addition to nine months of one-on-one coaching, this offering includes guidance and support through a personal project (not limited to music). Together, we will explore how finding a deeper connection to our voice affects our physical and symbolic voice in the world. As we free our silenced parts into expression and cultivate a more direct connection between impulse and expression, our life energy is freed up and we are able to create with both more depth as well as spontaneity and abandon. Projects can take the form of writing, a musical album, dance, spoken word, etc.
Voice Creatures Workshops and Masterclasses
Pop-Up Group Sessions
These group workshops and masterclasses provide participants with the opportunity to present works in progress and improvisations with the aim of being witnessed. Rather than presenting polished “performances,” the emphasis of these group sessions is on investigation and play; allowing the incomplete, irrational, and messy to run free in an atmosphere that is intimate, safe, and fun.

Book Bisan as a Guest Artist
Drawing from western classical technique as well as cross-cultural vocal traditions, this performance presentation engages students in a fun and unique discovery of the voice as a bridge between our most inner emotions and outer expression, capable of a vast array of colors. Students will be invited to expand their sound imagination and perceive voice in a new light through a combination of performance (by vocal artist Bisan Toron), lecture and participation.
